NIKE – ADOPTED

My name’s Nike! I’m one year old and weigh 27lbs. I definitely have some weight to gain, which should be no problem once I have a forever family to love on me and give me lots of treats! I do great with other dogs and love snuggles and cuddles. Come meet me! 

Nike arrived to CLR as a stray. She was running the back roads of rural Kentucky for months with one of our other rescues, Latte. Folks within our rescue network managed to trap Latte first, but Nike continued running for weeks before she finally gave up and jumped in someone’s car. This poor girl was pregnant when we first spotted her, but sadly she lost her babies somewhere along the way.

Nike is a shy girl and a bit of a couch potato…it took some significant coaxing to get her out for a walk. She was much more content laying in the sun on the concrete! We’re sure that after all that running she just needs a little rest & relaxation. Once she was walking with the pack she started to come to life! Lots of tail wags and kisses for everyone. Nike deserves the world and we can’t wait to send her home.
