2/21/2021 UPDATE: Rina arrived safely to CLR yesterday. Check back soon for an update!
Hey there…I’m Rina! I’m five months old and weigh around 30lbs. I LOVE to play with other dogs – I’m hoping my new family has a sibling at home to keep me company! If you tell me “hug” or “kissie” I’ll let you give me lots of hugs and kisses….it’s pretty darn cute!
Rina is a Lab/Golden Retriever mix who was owner surrendered to Montgomery County Animal Control in Tennessee. She’s obviously still a puppy and had too much puppy energy for her owner’s older dog. Like most puppies, she still jumps a bit – we’re sure with basic guidance and training she’ll learn her manners in no time. Rina loves being outside and we think she’ll be a water dog, but she hasn’t had a chance to be introduced to the pool or lake yet.
Our volunteers who transported her said she’s so sweet but was extremely shy in the car. She felt more confident in her crate, but came around quickly! She was spotted playing with her tennis ball a few times during the drive so we know she has a playful side when she’s less nervous. This girl seems sweet as can be – we know she’ll be home in no time!
