Tyson is a 2 year old, 80 lb. (could stand to lose about 15 lbs)  smiley, joyful boy who came to CLR as an owner surrender.  Why, you ask?…….  Because he  lived with 16 cats and the living conditions were not fit for that many animals.  The exciting news is that Tyson is great with cats, dogs and people!  This cheerful boy is ready to give kisses, hugs and and a lot of love to the next person ready to give him a  forever home.

FOSTER UPDATE

Tyson’s  wonderful qualities:

Crate trained – he does bark/whine about once in a while, but goes in as directed.
Leash trained – he loves walks and doesn’t pull at all!
House broke – not a single accident while I’ve had him.
Soft mouth – he takes treats without taking your hand along with it.
Knows the command sit and I think he might know paw/shake.
He waits for me to put his food bowl down before eating.
Knows the command “No!” – stops what he’s doing when I tell him.
He does seem to respond to Tyson.

He really has just started coming out of his shell this afternoon and playing with toys; in fact, he dragged almost every one of them out of the basket. His favorite seems to be the bones.

FOSTER UPDATE

He seems to be settling in nicely. The nervous panting he had the first couple days has subsided. He is a dream on the leash as he is easily walking about 3 miles with us daily. He is calm and gentle and wants to please. He sleeps great in his crate and a couple times we had to wake him at 8:00 am! We had another dog (young female) over yesterday and they played great together. We left him alone (crated) last night for a couple hours and he did fine. We also had service techs come to our house on Friday night and he showed no aggression toward them. He is fully house trained and knows basic commands.

He will make a great family dog!
