5/31/2o21 UPDATE: Brody arrived safely to CLR two days ago. Check back soon for an update!
Hey guys – I’m Brody! I’m five years old. I’m such a smart boy…I know all my commands. “Sit”, “Place”, and “Come” are all easy for me! I’m great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Come meet me!
Brody was owner surrendered to CLR. Both of his parents were traveling 4-5 nights per week for their jobs. His family was having a pet sitter come stay with him in their home during the week while they traveled, but it was difficult to get the same person every week and all the new people was starting to confuse Brody. They are heartbroken to be giving their sweet boy up but know he’ll be happier with a family that can give him the attention he deserves during the week.
Brody was originally adopted from a local animal shelter when he was one. He’s lived with a cat for the last four years and should be used to having cats in the home. His owners have a one-year-old and an infant grandchild and he is very gentle with both of them. Brody’s vet believes he has some anxiety, but his anxiety doesn’t drive any destructive behavior. He doesn’t do great in a crate and is afraid of loud noises. His former owners feel that he’ll thrive in a family with another dog, and would do especially well on a farm or home with lots of land. We love Brody’s big block head and can’t get over how handsome he is. We know he’ll have a new family in no time!
