We are beyond in love with precious Grits and in a very short amount of time, he has quite a fan club. He is a very friendly lab/hound and wants to be best friends with every dog he meets, so he needs canine sibling (s) to fulfill his wish. He is only 5.5 months old, a heroic parvo survivor, and currently underweight, so he needs to gain some weight. Since he was surrender by his owner (no reason provided), our assumption is he did not get proper nutrition or guidance. In a perfect world, people would understand the responsibilties associated with dog ownership before bringing a pup home. Grits, became the victim of being dumped at a shelter before coming to CLR. Like every young pup, basic manners are needed but that doesn’t erase the fact that is he the most adorable pup with a wonderful temperament. Once you meet him, our bet is you’ll be a top member of his growing list of fans.
